Telstra Dome, MCVB and ISES are delighted to invite members and clients to a networking breakfast.
Andre Rieu, world-renowned Dutch violinist, conductor and composer, will perform three concerts at Telstra Dome in November 2008. These concerts will entail the biggest stage set ever seen in Australia - a full scale Viennese castle, ice skating rinks, 200 voice choir, full symphony orchestra.
The stage will be in excess of 100m long and span the length of the Telstra Dome field.
We invite you to an exclusive behind the scenes experience - where Nick Saunter, General Manager, Event Operations, Telstra Dome will discuss the operational challenges and event logistics required to plan and deliver Andre Rieu's concert.

Jonathon Welch - Creator of The Choir of Hard Knocks
Inspired by the Montreal Homeless Men's Choir, and by his previous experience with the Sydney Street Choir, Jonathon Welch, former Opera Australia Tenor, formed a partnership with ABC TV, Fremantle Media and RecLink Australia to document the creation of the Choir of Hard Knocks.
Formed in September 2006, the Choir of Hard Knocks comprises 50 diverse and eclectic individuals who responded to a call to form a community street choir. Their incredible journey was recorded and broadcast by the ABC and touched the lives of millions of viewers across Australia.
Since then, the Choir has released two CDs, played sell-out shows throughout Australia and has out-sold the current album of the Choir's patron, Jimmy Barnes.
MCVB is delighted to invite you to join Jonathon, as he recounts his inspirational journey, from building a choir of people considered "invisible", or a burden on society, to inspiring the nation with the Choir of Hard Knocks story.
